B.Bravo is a producer from Los Angeles who has been releasing music since the late ‘00s. He has often worked in collaboration with other artists, such as Umii with Reva Devito or Kool Kustomer with Rojai. He released his first full-length solo album, Paradise, in 2017. While he’s kept busy with collaborations, EPs, singles, and remixes, it’s been five years since that last solo album. Well, the wait is finally over, because his sophomore album, Vizionz, is now here.

For this album, B.Bravo is overthinking anything. That is to say, he’s sticking with what got him here – a mix of electro-boogie, disco, R&B, and hip hop. From top to bottom, this is an album that you’re going to want to bump on your car stereo all summer long as you drive around and just feel the grooves that B.Bravo is laying down. B.Bravo is adept at crafting memorable hooks and melodies on his synthesizers, and the funky interplay between the synths, bass, and drum machines are infectious. Keeping his love of collaboration alive, we get guest spots from Def Sound, Reva Devito, Sally Green, Nico Fasho, Rojai, and Chuck Inglish. Everyone sounds great on the album, but Devito in particular reminds you of the great chemistry she has with B.Bravo as Umii. On “Fly Bye,” she turns up the heat and makes this party for the grown and sexy. Rojai matches that energy, taking you to a Quiet Storm place that is silky smooth. Sally Green gets to be the disco queen on “1010” that gets everyone on the dance floor, and Chuck Inglish gets to bring the swag to the party with his cool confidence closing out the album with “Believe.” Whatever it is, it’s going to be funky, sophisticated, cool, and fun.

Vizionz is B.Bravo doing what B.Bravo does best, and he has once again delivered an album that is full of solid electo-boogie, R&B, disco, and hip hop that will turn the party out this summer. He’s a talented producer who knows how to make sophisticated funk that will get you moving in no time.
